WARREN DJERF, PRESIDENT

Warren has enjoyed a professional communications career spanning over 30 years. He launched BCG in 1995 after working at several PR firms in Minneapolis and a manufacturer in Pennsylvania. Warren enjoys telling his clients’ stories through a wide range of communications services, often involving public relations, investor relations and media relations.

He has client experience with a wide range of organizations, including publicly held and private manufacturers, technology companies, non-profits and associations. Organizations have ranged in size from $100+ million in sales to start-ups.

Warren assists companies and organizations in developing, focusing and delivering their messages to the audiences important to them in impactful, engaging ways. At heart, he’s a story-teller committed to successfully telling your story.

A Minnesota native, Warren lives in St. Louis Park, Minn. He and his wife Karen Waters have six children. As a member of Toastmasters International since 2012, Warren has competed in club, area, division and district speech contests; he’s also a member of the Public Relations Society of America. He holds a B.A. degree in English (magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) from Carleton College. He remains involved in Carleton alumni networking, fundraising and reunion planning.

Notable Name. Back in 1995, Warren briefly considered naming his new firm “Silent D Communications” in tribute to his unique surname – pronounced “Jerf”. It’s derived from the Swedish “Djärv” and translations include: Bold, Courageous and Valiant.
